Amber Averill8 years agoFirst of all, I NEVER leave reviews. However, my experience with Karmen for my massage definitely warrants one! I'm a license massage therapist, so I'm VERY particular - I have high standards to say the least. Start to finish, Karmen was not only professional but she's over-the-top skilled at what she does. She took time beforehand to understand where my issues were and clearly demonstrated a depth of knowledge on muscles. I require firm pressure and she provided just that throughout the entire massage. Her room is incredibly relaxing. Lots of beautiful tiny details that made her space so comforting and relaxing. I LOVE the refreshing glass of water (no plastic bottle waste!) and mint afterwards - I can't wait to get my next massage!!!
Erin Oswald8 years agoI’ve been going here for years and would never go anywhere else for massage. Recently they added a 4-hand massage and it is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and quit going to those massage chains... book an appointment here. You won’t be disappointed.

Laurie Navin13 years agoI love my massages from Karmen. She not only relaxes me, but she gave me a suggestion on how I should sleep to relieve some nerve pinching in my right side. I haven’t felt better in years. I have had x-rays, I’ve been to 2 different chiropractors and nothing relieved my sporadic pain until I tried her suggestion. Very caring, lots of personalization.
Jessica Wetzel13 years agoBeen a lot of different places around Des Moines. Achieving Inner Peace is the best place I have been, hands down. If you want relief from your aches, stress, and pains, this is the place to go. Walk out feeling like a new person! Highly recommend it!
Michael Buchhop13 years agoWonderful, professional massage! Would recommend to anyone. Asks questions and genuinely cares about what I needed. It's not like one of the 'commercial' massage therapy businesses, where you're just a booking. Instead, it's one-on-one through the whole process.
